Ko wai mātou? | Who are we?

Kia ora e te iwi,

My name is Vanessa, a proud Cook Island - Māori māmā from Murupara in the Bay of Plenty, NZ. My Fiancé` of 12 years is Niuean from Mangere, Auckland NZ.

Together we have three beautiful daughters, all born here in Australia. Even though we live away from home, keeping that connection to our roots, our culture and our whanau has always been a priority for us.

Māhuri Line was created from many growing ideas over the years, from previous side hustles ive had. From sewing Polynesian baby bibs, making baby gift baskets, to doing candied grapes haha. I also tried to even start a baby business (Māia Collections), but it didn't work out at the time due to a lack of experience and whanau commitments. 

With all of that behind us, my little whanau and I have grown & learnt so much. Now were ready to step into this next chapter, Creating some amazing taonga for our people and whanau around the world.
